ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

We are looking for a Supervisor OOSH to manage the day-to-day operations of Council's outside school hours care service. This position is the Nominated Supervisor/Educational Lead and is required to ensure full compliance of the Education and Care Services National Law and the National Quality Standards.

With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and demonstrated experience in a childcare environment, you will be able to demonstrate practical experience developing and implementing high-quality children’s programs based on the appropriate "My Time Our Place" Framework. Demonstrated experience in leadership, including team building and performance management is essential.

Key responsibilities of this role include: 

  • Leading the development, delivery, and evaluation of a quality play-based leisure program.
  • Leading the implementation of effective health and hygiene practices.
  • Ensuring all WH&S requirements are met within the service.
  • Effectively managing income and expenditure.
  • Maintaining service records.
  • Maintaining occupancy levels in the service including managing wait list and enrolment enquiries.

Demonstrated experience as the Nominated Supervisor along with a working knowledge of the Education and Care National Law and Regulations, National Quality Framework is essential. A First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Working with Children Check and working knowledge of Child Protection legislation is also a must.

This position is offered on a permanent, fulltime basis working 35 hours per week which will include working split shifts.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 10 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $75,331.88 - $84,738.68 per annum plus superannuation.
