ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

We are looking for an Environmental Projects Officer to develop and implement policies, projects, programs and activities that enhance Council's and community’s commitment to a sustainable environment to improve the quality of life and community wellbeing. This role will manage a unique program to improve energy efficiency, cut power bills, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve home comfort for households within Singleton, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to lead the transition to Electric Vehicles within the Singleton Local Government Area. 

You will have tertiary qualifications in sustainability, environmental management/science or a related discipline and/or relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and experience in project management. A sound understanding of relevant State and Federal strategies, policies and programs would be beneficial to this role. 

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 10 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $75,331 - $84,738 per annum plus superannuation.
