ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

This newly created role within the Integrated Risk Management team provides professional advice and service to Council on operational environmental risk management matters, including leading, developing, deploying, and continuously improving Council’s Environmental Management System consistent with the requirements of ISO14001:2015. As  the primary environmental specialist/expert within Council, an important part of this role is the ability to develop strong and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders. 

Experience in environmental impact assessment, incident management and environmental compliance for large multidisciplinary organisations such as local government or similar infrastructure delivery organisations, along with relevant degree qualifications are essential.

This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis working 35 hours per week.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 14 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $106,328 - $119,606 per annum, plus a generous vehicle allowance of $16,880 and 11.5% superannuation.
