Hello, I am 35-year-old man who lives in Gympie. I am looking for a support worker to assist me with personal care in the mornings and evenings. You will need to be fit, healthy and energetic. You must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to listen, learn and take direction from someone with a disability in a professional and respectful manner. This role will be well suited to a support worker looking to add extra hours to their weekly schedule.
*No prior knowledge of disability support is required as all training will be provided*
The Role:
- Provide personal care in the mornings to get ready for the day
- Provide personal care in the evenings to have dinner and prepare for bed
Shifts:
- Mornings 3- 4 times a week 7am – 9am
- Evening 3 – 4 times a week 5pm – 8pm
Essential Requirements:
- Current Open Queensland Drivers License
- Yellow Card / NDIS Workers Screening (Or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- COVID Vaccinated preferred
- Live within reasonable travelling distance
- Working rights in Australia
- Flexibility to pick up additional hours when needed
