The Role:

In this role, you’ll provide one to one support to two wonderful ladies in their home and the local community. This role is centered around enabling the women to live a lifestyle that enhances their daily living experiences. We value social connections, and your contribution will help foster friendships and community involvement. You will play a key role in encouraging the women to pursue new opportunities and work towards their individual goals.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a compassionate and energetic individual who resonates with the values of friendship, respect, and community. While experience in disability support is beneficial, similar interests, life experience, good values, good energy and a good match to the ladies are what we seek. Training will be provided, ensuring you are well-prepared for your role.

Shifts:

Part time/casual – approx. 12-20 hours (negotiable), 2 to 3 shifts per week available including sleepovers, days and evenings (Being available for sleepovers and evenings is a must. There is some flexibility to what days but please note it may include weekend rostered work. 

General Shift times:

  • 4.30pm - 9am sleepover (8.5 hour shift plus sleepover allowance)
  • 8am - 2pm (6-hour shift) in particular Wed
  • 9am - 5pm (8-hour shift)
  • 5.30pm - 8.30pm
  • Hours can be added or moved to work with what the ladies are doing or going to (Flexible)
  • Additional relief hours available regularly

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm - $38 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am - $42.56 per hour
  • Saturday - $53.20 per hour
  • Sunday - $68.40 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $83.60 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $120.00 per shift

Requirements:

  • Driver’s license
  • Fit and health due to the nature of the work
  • Value and respect that you work directly for the women and their family
  • First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
