I am a 38-year-old woman seeking support. I require assistance with all aspects of daily living including personal care, light household duties, community access and attending appointments. I use a powered wheelchair for mobility and have my own wheelchair accessible vehicle.

The Opportunity:
Ongoing part-time/casual positions available to join my team. This role will suit people who want to work closely with me to build a quality, trusting relationship. You will be working in our home that I co-share with my mother. Achieve work-life balance through reciprocal flexibility and an understanding that life can be messy with appointments and changes in routine.
Shifts:
To be successful in this role you must be available Thursdays, Sundays and for 1 sleepover a week. You will be available to work a variety of shifts, predominately afternoons, evenings and sleepovers, limited mornings are available. Flexibility to provide cover for other team members is desired.
Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am - shift $42.56 per hour
- Saturdays - $53.20 per hour
- Sunday - $68.40 per hour
- Public Holidays - $83.60 per hour
- Sleepover allowance $120.00 per shift
Requirements of successful applicants:
Previous experience is valued but not essential. I provide full training. Some of my best workers were inexperienced before working with me. You will need good values, a respectful attitude, and be reliable with a professional, yet friendly approach. My health fluctuates so you will need to be patient, observant and have the ability to respond and adapt to varying situations and environments.
To get you started, I ensure you are feeling confident and competent in the role by providing buddy shifts with my Key Worker.
Essential requirements:
- Non Smoker
- Must be small dog friendly
- Open Driver’s license
- Currently living in my local area, or close by
- Fit and healthy due to the nature of the work
- Flexible with work times to fit in with my life - must be available for sleepovers
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to complete)
