Hi my name is Madonna and I am a young at heart 52-year-old woman with muscular atrophy who is looking for 1 new support worker to join my support team and who is willing to support my lifestyle. The position is in Enoggera on the Northside of Brisbane. I love baking and have been making my own cards for about 5 years. I love movies, music and TV shows so if this is a shared interest we will have plenty to talk about. I have a broad experience, knowledge and interest in the disability sector and human rights. A passion fulfilled when I completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The position requires my support workers to assist me in my home with personal care, assistance with cooking, cleaning and at times supporting me in the community for appointments, shopping or other pursuits and interests. I see the value in being able to develop a good relationship with my workers and for my workers to work as a team. There is potential to work extra shifts to assist my other workers with shifts when they are unavailable or taking leave. I do have a very loved, pampered and sassy cat so please be aware of this when applying for the position. No experience is necessary if you are willing to learn and follow my direction, supporting me to live independently, choosing my own lifestyle.
Shifts:
- Friday 7 - 10am (week 2 of fortnight)
- Saturday 7am - 3pm
- Sunday 7 - 10am (week 1 of fortnight)
- Monday 3.30 - 6.30pm
Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.25 per hour
- Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am - shift $42.84 per hour
- Saturdays - $53.55 per hour
- Sunday - $68.85 per hour
- Public Holidays - $84.15 per hour
- Sleepover allowance $65.00 per shift (10pm-6am)
Requirements:
- Insured vehicle and license
- NDIS Worker Screening check / Yellow Card (or willing to Obtain)
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate or willing to obtain before start date
- Live within reasonable travelling distance
Training will be provided with existing workers and directed by me. You will be employed by me and registered with my employment agency for payroll.
