Female Disability Support Worker

A 35-year-old lady in Zillmere is looking for a kind and friendly female support worker to join her team. She enjoys music, art and dancing and is hoping to find someone with similar interests. She requires social and community participation support, as well as assistance with activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills in psychosocial and intellectual disability support. Additionally, they should be adept in cooking, making connections, and offering developmental support. She is looking for someone who will actively participate in her activities at home and the community.

Shifts (11 hours per week + fill in shifts):

  • Monday - 8.30am - 2.30pm 
  • Thursday 4 - 9pm 
  • Additional fill in shifts when other workers are on leave

Requirements:

  • Female
  • Pet friendly and able to assist with care for cat
  • Located within reasonable travelling distance
  • Open Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle with insurance
  • Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Certification in Disability / Aged Care highly regarded

Pay rate:

  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $39.25 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am - shift $43.96 per hour
