We are seeking a fit and healthy woman to support a young at heart lady living in Wynnum with early onset Dementia. She enjoys walking, running and swimming, playing piano, making food and being a part of her local community and communities with likeminded culture (Greek). We require someone who is patient, has the ability to support non-verbal communication and has experience with or is willing to learn and educate themselves about dementia.
The Role:
- Personal Care
- Household duties
- Community access
- Attending appointments
Shifts:
- Wednesday 8am – 3pm
- Friday 8am - 3pm
- Saturday 1pm - 5pm
- Flexibility to pick up extra shifts when required
Essential requirements:
- Fit and healthy as the lady would like to go on runs, walks and swims.
- +1 years experience Disability support work / Aged Care
- Non-Smoker
- Open Driver’s license and own vehicle with insurance
- Live within reasonable travelling distance
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
