Male Disability Support Worker

Location: Taringa

Seeking a male support worker to assist a gentleman living in Taringa with a Monday evening shopping and cooking shift. He enjoys music, dancing, and video games and has Down Syndrome. He lives in his own home and works two jobs in mainstream employment.

The Role:

  • Food shopping & Cooking
  • Transport & Community Access

Shifts:

  • Monday evenings - 4:30pm – 9pm
  • Additional shifts also be available late February through to March

Essential requirements:

  • +1 years experience Disability support work
  • High level of English proficiency
  • Open Driver’s license and own vehicle with insurance
  • Live within reasonable travelling distance
  • Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday 6 AM to 8 PM: $37.50 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8 PM to 6 AM: $42.00 per hour
  • Saturday: $52.50 per hour
  • Sunday: $67.50 per hour
  • Public Holidays: $82.50 per hour
