Youth Engagement Officer

A new and exciting opportunity is available an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person to join our Community Relations team as the Youth Engagement Officer. The Youth Engagement Officer will assist in the development, facilitation and evaluation of youth activities, programs, services and events designed to address the identified needs, interests, aspirations and challenges of young people in Southern Grampians Shire. The role will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders so excellent communication skills are a must, as is experience working with young people and project or event management/planning. A good understanding of the issues and challenges facing young people and how to support them is required, as is the ability to work flexible hours.
