We are looking for two dedicated, creative and professional Communications Officers to join our team.
Reporting to the Senior Communications Coordinator, the Communications Officers will support our internal and external communications strategies, develop content for digital platforms, write media releases, coordinate media responses, and promote community engagement activities.
As a Communications Officer, you will have the ability to think creatively, and have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills. A qualification in communications/PR and/or experience as a Communications Officer or equivalent is desired.
This role will require you to work collaboratively with stakeholders across Southern Grampians Shire and from other agencies and partner organisations.
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, solutions focused and innovative with a firm understanding on latest industry trends, and possess a sound understanding of the principles of content development and social media management. You will have strong written skills, possess attention to detail, and work well independently and as a part of a team.
