Band 5 - $36.85 to $41.53 per hour Excluding Superannuation
Southern Grampians Shire Council is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our Children’s Services Team as the Childrens Services Field Officer/Educational Leader in the delivery of Family Day Care services to the Southern Grampians community.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in the early childhood education and care field
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards and frameworks, a demonstrated ability to contribute to quality improvement assessment and rating processes
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of child development behaviour and ability to assist in the planning, administration, and promotion of an educational programs
- Confident open Written and Verbal communication style that encourages collaboration, teamwork, participation and development of others
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to building a healthy safe workplace and a positive team culture
- Problem solving and sound judgement with the ability to successfully resolve issues and improve performance
