Band 4 $34.04 - $35.99 per hour excluding superannuation
Come join a close team that is responsible for administering and enforcing Council's Local Laws and animal control with enthusiasm, while being able to interpret and apply relevant legislation in a consistent, courteous and reasonable manner. We are looking for someone that loves to engage with the community and is able adapt to a dynamic environment.
You will be required to:
- Investigate a range of legislative controls focusing on, but not limited to, animal management, protection of amenity through Local Laws, rubbish dumping and parking
- Gather evidence, issue infringements and prepare briefs of evidence and reports that support the giving of evidence as a witness to achieve successful outcomes
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Maintain the Council pound facilities and animals in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
