Shift Manager - In Training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate a team of employees, ensuring they are providing excellent customer service and following company procedures.
  • Shift Operations Management: Supervise all aspects of the shift, including pizza preparation, order fulfillment, delivery operations, and customer service, ensuring the store runs smoothly.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer concerns or complaints, resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the shift.
  • Staff Training & Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members. Ensure staff are well-versed in product knowledge, operational procedures, and safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and inventory, place orders as needed, and ensure inventory is properly organized and tracked throughout your shift.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that pizzas and other menu items are made to Domino's high standards for quality and consistency.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that the store is compliant with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular checks on cleanliness and ensure proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Cash Handling & Financial Accuracy: Oversee cash register operations, process customer payments, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve operational issues such as staffing shortages, order delays, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Opening & Closing Procedures: Assist with opening and closing the store, ensuring all duties are completed, including balancing cash registers and completing shift reports.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: We require the applicant to be at least 18 year old, on-the-job training is provided. 
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently, manage time effectively, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 15k during the shift.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order management software.
