The Head of Manufacturing is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, and has accountability in Signet for manufacturing, engineering/maintenance, associated warehousing and procurement of raw materials.

We proudly manufacture a wide range of Marking paints locally at our Colourpack Facility in Brisbane. We are also a prolific manufacturer of stretch film and an expert in pallet wrapping solutions. Our 35,000 customers are serviced from distribution centres located in Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Key focus areas:
- Providing Cross-functional Leadership across manufacturing and maintenance/engineering departments, as well as to manufacturing business partners including HSEQ, Supply Chain, Sales and Finance teams
- Develop, implement and review monthly an annual manufacturing plan aligned with our 3-year strategy and annual manufacturing requirements
We welcome applicants with keen commercial acumen and demonstrated capability for production, quality, cost and safety management within a medium to large business environment.
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a manufacturing related qualification highly regarded.
- 10+ years’ experience in operational management with a significant background in high volume manufacturing and/or engineering environments
- An ability to analyse and interpret financial & production data, supported by an understanding of the relationship between key financial indicators and root causes of problems
- An understanding of Quality, Safety and Sustainability accreditations within a production environment is highly desirable
- Experience using ERP systems
- Sound working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
