About the Role:

Working within our Flexibles department, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of plastic products that meet our valued client’s specifications and quality standards.

 You will be involved in all aspects of the Plastics production processes, including:

• Operating modern automated plastics extrusion, conversion and recycling machinery
• Manufacturing finished goods including plastic bags and stretch film
• Carrying out basic maintenance on machines
• Completing process control documentation accurately and diligently

The roster consists of 12-hour shifts where you work 4 days on and then have 4 days off rotating across a 24-hour 7-day roster. The shifts rotate between day shifts of 5:45 am to 5:45 pm and night shifts of 5:45 pm to 5:45 am.

About you:

We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual with a desire to learn.

The successful applicant will ideally have: 

• 2-3 years’ experience in running manufacturing machines
• A can-do attitude and be a great team player
• Effective problem-solving skills
• A strong mechanical aptitude, safety and quality-focused
• A High attention to detail
• Experience within the plastics industry in blown film and exposure to HACCP (desirable but not mandatory)
