An opportunity is currently available for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Supply team in our Wakerley Head Office.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for executing the supply processes required to deliver imported goods and services to Signet. Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is integral to maintaining core stock lines through advanced forecasting and reporting on potential problems.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing all imported purchased stocks into warehouses nationally
  • Building a collaborative relationship with Suppliers and Freight Forwarders to streamline processes and look for project opportunities
  • Posting relevant invoices for Accounts Payable
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed prior to passing for payment
  • Expediting late deliveries and liaising with Signet and 3PL providers on priority put-away
  • Reviewing possible out of stocks and action plans to minimize impact in conjunction with Supply Planners
  • Attend to any Supply projects and ad hoc administrative tasks as directed.

 

What we are looking for in our Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Experience in either procurement or supply, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to an ERP system or Navision highly regarded
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow through to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to work well unsupervised and within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office suite
