Female Disability Support Workers

A sociable, creative and active lady in her 40s living is looking for new support workers to join her team. She enjoys attending an art group, singing, dancing, going to the theatre, watching movies, travelling, camping and spending time with her family and wide circle of friends. She also volunteers, is involved in community groups and likes to get out and about to local events. She is looking for someone enthusiastic and bubbly who will ensure her life is full of meaningful activities and connections. While experience in disability support is beneficial, similar interests, life experience, good values, good energy and a good fit are most important.

Key Duties:

  • Maintaining social and community connections
  • Social and community engagement (hobbies / classes / social events)
  • Assistance with Daily Living and domestic tasks

Shifts Available: 

  • Day Shifts 9am - 5pm 
  • Overnights 5pm - 9am
  • Flexibility to pick up shifts when team members are on leave

*22 hours per week available to start*

Pay Rates:
  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.50 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $43.12 per hour
  • Saturday - $53.90 per hour
  • Sunday - $69.30 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $84.70 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift

Requirements:

  • Female 
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Open Queensland Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Blue Card (working with Children check) (or willing to obtain)
  • Living within reasonable travelling distance
  • Rights to work in Australia
