Role Overview

As the Construction Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our capital works program. You will monitor project quality, progress, and compliance with industry standards.

You will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to coordinate on-site activities, conduct inspections, and report on project performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on project progress and quality
  • Coordinate site activities and defect repairs
  • Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and ensure works meet quality requirements

Exercise autonomy to halt unsafe works or compromised quality to uphold project integrity.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil, Building, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant industry experience or trade certificate
  • Current Driver's Licence and Construction Industry Certificate (White Card)

Experience in buildings, open space, transport, or stormwater projects is highly desirable.

  • Package:  $93,399 - $99,003 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation
  • Hours of work: Permanent Full Time (35hours) with the option of a 19-day month
