About the Role
- Use your previous professional recruitment experience to source, attract and recruit talent to Council using merit-based recruitment practices.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills to manage a high volume of end-to-end recruitment activities.
- Think outside the box, seeking creative ways to problem-solve and continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Utilise your strong influencing skills and passion for coaching managers to help build talent acquisition capability within Council.
- Be hands on in supporting our diverse business areas of Sutherland Council, creating a strong and sustainable future through strategic talent acquisition
About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience in a similar role, preferably across a multidisciplinary organisation.
- Be committed to upholding merit-based recruitment processes and passionate about creating the best possible candidate experience.
- Possess great people skills and an ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders to meet business and operational objectives.
- Be a subject matter expert, providing sound and strategic advice to hiring managers.

- Package: $91,119 - $96,590 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week, 19 day month flex time arrangement available. Temporary or flexible/part time opportunities may also be available.
