Your Role in Our Vision

As the Team Leader of Development Services, you will be entrusted with the leadership of a talented group of technical staff. Your responsibilities will include setting strategic goals, monitoring team performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous service improvement.

You will assess a wide range of development proposals, evaluating their potential impact on the natural, built, and social environments while ensuring compliance with planning matters. Your expertise will guide your team in providing best practise advice and support for various development types.

Your Profile

We are seeking an inspiring leader who embodies our values. You should possess a strong background in environmental planning and development assessment, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven experience in leading and developing diverse teams.
  • Tertiary qualifications related to environmental planning and assessment.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental assessment processes and planning legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for sustainable development.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and the community.

  • Package: From $118,000 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation. (Salary will be paid based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate). In addition, an award vehicle allowance of $10,780 gross.pa will also be paid.
  • Hours of work: Temporary Full Time. 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement. Opportunity is expected to be available up to August 2026.
