About The Role

The Civil Road Opening Officer will be responsible for liaising with Public and Private Entities to ensure all road openings comply with legislation and civil assets are restored to Council’s specifications to agreed levels of service for quality, function and time. This also includes assessment of customer requests and management of contractors.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of civil operations.

  • Proven experience in road opening or civil operations.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure efficient execution of road opening operations while adhering to safety protocols and timelines.

  • Package: From $91,120 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight.
