Your Role in Our Team
The Licenced Electrician within our Building Operations unit plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of Council’s electrical assets. You will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, from fault finding and reactive repairs to proactive maintenance and installation of new systems.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes initiative, and can bring their unique skills to the table. Whether you’re inspecting electrical assets or coordinating with external service providers, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our standards of quality and safety.
Who we are looking for
If you have a passion for electrical work and a desire to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you!
- You will hold an Electrical Trade Certificate as well as a NSW Fair Trading Contractor Licence (Electrical).
- Have a solid background in construction and maintenance, with post-apprenticeship experience under your belt.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
- Additional training like Asbestos awareness or Confined Space certification would be a plus.

- Package: $67,700 - $71,700 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent full-time 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight
