Your Role as a Rear Loader DriverAs a Rear Loader Driver, you will be instrumental in ensuring the timely collection of waste and resource recovery materials across the Sutherland Shire. You will support our Waste Services Business Unit in delivering a cost-effective and efficient waste collection service, which is a cornerstone of our Waste Management Strategy.
This role involves carrying out essential duties such as waste collection, vehicle inspection, and minor repairs, all while adhering to safety and compliance standards. Your contributions will directly impact the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our Shire, making a positive difference in our community.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing excellent service and maintaining a clean environment.
- Current HR Class driver’s licence is a MUST for this role
- Previous experience in a similar environment role
- Physically able to carry out manual handling duties
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic data entry and mobility device operating skills
- knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of Sutherland Shire streets/suburbs would be advantageous

- Package: $72,700 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full-time 38 hours per week 9 day fortnight
