Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Student Planner at Sutherland Shire Council, you will assist in assessing development applications, conduct research, write reports, and contribute to planning strategies. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure projects align with environmental and community goals.

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for:

If you are currently studying or completing a Bachelor's degree in a related field, possess good analytical and research skills, have a keen interest in environmental planning, and are eager to learn and grow in a supportive team environment, we want to hear from you!

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in urban planning or related field
  • Interest in environmental assessment and policy development
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office administration

  • Package: $49,899.20 - $54,870.40 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work:  Full-Time temporary position expected to be available up to 12 months. Working 35 hours per week, with the option of the 19 day month.
