Job Overview
As an Early Education Centre Cook, you will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritionally balanced menus, accommodating dietary needs, and promoting health and nutrition for children enrolled at the centre.
You will work closely with the Centre Director to develop menus within budget, maintain a safe kitchen environment, and engage children in food-related educational activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Working with Children Check & Food Handlers Certificate.
Desirable:
- Food safety and nutrition training
- Experience in hospitality or catering industry
- First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of anaphylaxis
- Strong time management skills
- Experience in catering for young children

- Package: $56,839 - $60,123 gross p.a. (Full Time Equivalent) plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Part-time position 22.5 hours per week. Start time is negotiable between 8:30am - 9:00am for a 4.5 hour shift each day Monday to Friday.
