The Curatorial Assistant will provide essential support to the Curator in executing the exhibition program at the Hazelhurst Arts Centre. This includes managing exhibitions in multiple galleries, gardens, and special projects, along with associated publications and artist-in-residence initiatives.
- Support the development and delivery of dynamic exhibitions.
- Engage actively with artists and the community through diverse cultural experiences.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve curatorial objectives.

Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the arts with relevant experience in a gallery or museum setting, demonstrating a commitment to high standards in curation and exhibition management.
- Tertiary qualifications in Fine / Visual Arts or extensive knowledge of Australian art.
- Current Class C Driver’s licence.
- Experience in an arts organisation, particularly in exhibition installation and art handling.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphic design software such as InDesign and Photoshop.

- Package: $70,797 - $75,045 gross p.a. (full time equivalent) plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Part-time position (21 hours per week)
