Role Overview

The Hazelhurst Learning Officer will support the Team Leader Learning in the development and execution of effective audience development strategies. This role involves recommending, developing, and delivering educational programs that engage various audiences with Hazelhurst’s exhibitions and offerings.

The successful candidate will play a key role in collaborating with volunteers and community members to enhance educational experiences and ensure the smooth operation of programs.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate who has a strong background in arts education and experience in program development for diverse audiences.

  • Degree or Diploma in Visual or Creative Arts and/or Primary or Secondary Qualification in Education or equivalent experience.
  • Working With Children Check
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering structured educational programs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additionally, the candidate should possess exceptional time management skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

  • Package: $76,424 - $81,008 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Full-time 35 hours per week, with the option of a 19 day month (flexi-time arrangement).
