About Us
Join our Public Safety Team at Sutherland Shire Council, we are committed to serving our community and ensuring public safety through effective regulation and enforcement. As an Authorised Officer - Roads & Traffic, you will play a vital role in upholding standards and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Authorised Officer, you will be responsible for conducting foot patrols to enforce parking compliance, investigate illegal activities, and address traffic-related offences. You will work closely with the community and local authorities to maintain order and safety on public streets and designated areas.
As a Roads & Traffic Officer, you should possess:

- A valid NSW Driver's Licence
- Experience in customer service
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to comply with procedures and policies

- Package: $67,752 - $77,169 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation. (Plus weekend penalty rates as worked)
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time opportunity available working 38 hours per week, 9 day fortnight.
