Your Role: A Day in the Life
As a Side Arm Driver, you will be responsible for the effective collection of garbage, recycling, and green waste bins throughout the Sutherland Shire. With a focus on safety, you will operate our state-of-the-art vehicles while adhering to industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely collecting garbage, recycling, and green waste bins while upholding contamination-free practises.
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any damage or defects promptly.
- Performing minor repairs on bins to ensure they remain functional and user-friendly.
- Working collaboratively in a team to optimise collection routes and enhance service delivery.

- Current HR Class driver’s licence is essential
- Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to perform manual handling duties.
- Proficient in basic computer/mobile device operations and effective communication.
- Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law and local streets and reserves.

- Package: $72,700 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent full-time 38 hours per week 9 day fortnight
