Position Overview

The Technical and Contracts Coordinator is a pivotal role within our Facilities and Fleet team, which is responsible for oversight of service delivery, quality assurance monitoring and reporting, technical and systems support. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth planning, delivery, and ongoing management and oversight of key fleet and facility operations, while also overseeing contract management that aligns with divisional objectives.

You will collaborate closely with the Facilities and Fleet leadership team, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of efficiency, quality, safety, and performance.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about driving improvements and delivering exceptional service to the community.

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Procurement, Law, or a related field, along with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract management within a local government framework.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering outcomes on time and to specification.
  • Assist in developing technical specifications, service agreements, and work programs.
  • Lead business system’s needs, continuous development, implementation, and maintenance.

  • Package: From $104,345 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation. Vehicle Allowance offered.
  • Hours of work:  Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight
