About The Role

The IM&T Delivery Partner is a crucial role within the IM&T Digital PMO, responsible for managing technology projects and Service Improvement Plans (SIPs). You will partner with various Council directorates to understand their IT requirements and ensure service levels are consistently met. As the primary point of contact for non-transactional services, this role emphasises effective communication and collaboration across teams to deliver desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a deep understanding of business goals and translate them into technology requirements.
  • Manage expectations with business units regarding project deliveries and service levels.
  • Apply Agile project management methodologies to ensure effective delivery of projects and SIPs.
  • Coordinate activities and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support Project Managers with financial tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing.
  • Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement within the team.
  • Engage in demand management and prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess strong project coordination skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You should have excellent stakeholder management capabilities, enabling you to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders effectively.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are essential.
  • Experience in coordinating IT projects within a medium-sized environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations and support.
  • Adept in written and verbal communication, with strong facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments, including tools like Jira and MS Project, is desirable.
  • Experience in design thinking and customer experience (CX) is advantageous.

  • Package: $96,668 - $108,266 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Temporary Full-Time. 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flexitime arrangement. Opportunity expected to be available until end of April 2026.
