Trainee - Recycling and Waste

Location: Sutherland Shire

As a Recycling and Waste Trainee, you'll work closely with our Recycling and Waste Team to help ensure the safe, timely and high-quality delivery of services across residential and open space assets. This role will expose you to the technical, logistical and customer service aspects of modern recycling and waste management.

  • Kickstart your career in Recycling and Waste
  • Gain hands on experience whilst working towards a Certificate 3 in Waste Management
  • Assist in monitoring team performance against service goals
  • Collaborate with crews and contractors to ensure work quality and efficiency

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Recycling and Waste Trainee to support our Recycling and Waste team in delivering efficient, high-quality waste collection and public space cleansing services. You will have:

  • A completed Year 10 Record of School Achievement
  • Passion for the recycling, waste and sustainability area.

  • Package: $41,771.60 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: 18 month traineeship opportunity. Working 38 hours per week, 9 day fortnight.
