This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience whilst completing a Certificate 3 in Engineering - Metal Fabrication over four years.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Metal Fabricator you'll support the maintenance and repair of Council's fleet vehicles and building infrastructure. You'll work under the guidance of experienced supervisors, learning to use tools and equipment safely, while gaining practical skills across different service areas. Attendance at TAFE and completing all required learning is part of the apprenticeship.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the metal fabrication trade.

  • Satisfactory completion of Year 10 Record of School Achievement.
  • Ability to meet physical demands and work outdoors in various conditions.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a trade in Engineering Metal Fabrication.
  • Possession of a Class C licence and relevant work experience are desirable but not essential.
