About The Role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer and the overall functions of the Executive Office. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing communications, coordinating schedules, and ensuring the CEO's time is utilised effectively. The Executive Assistant will also work closely with the Office of the Mayor, providing backup support as necessary.
In this role, you will lead initiatives within the Executive Assistant network, driving continuous improvements in service delivery and stakeholder engagement. You will work with the other part time Executive Assistant to the CEO to facilitate smooth operation of the Office of the CEO across the course of the week.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in executive support within a government setting.
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related field are desirable.
- Experience in a similar role within a government environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across various levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to improving service delivery for the community.

- Package: $99,569 - $105,544 (full-time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Temporary Part Time, 21 hours (3 days) per week. Salary will be paid pro rata to part time hours worked. Opportunity expected to be available for up to 12 months.
