We’re looking for a passionate and strategic leader to step into a Team Leader Workforce role that’s all about people, strategy and Impact. This is a unique 16-month opportunity to share your expertise, ignite innovation and leave a lasting legacy, and in an organisation of our size, this could be just the beginning.
You’ll lead exciting, high-impact projects including:
- Redesigning our organisational structure to support career growth, succession planning and strong quality practices at the centre level.
- Implementing a new roster system.
- Strengthening child-safe recruitment and onboarding.
- Supporting the development of our Early Education Strategy.
What You'll Do:
You’ll mentor Centre Directors, lead workforce planning and drive initiatives that improve the employee value proposition.
You’ll also:
- Lead workforce management processes including rostering, payroll, return to work and recruitment.
- Maintain compliance with National Quality Standards (Quality Area 4 & 7).
- Provide leadership in policy development and change management.
What You'll Bring:
- A degree in Early Education and/or Management/Business.
- Experience in workforce planning.
- Substantial experience in leadership roles.
- Substantial leadership experience in the Early Education & Care sector.
- Deep knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
- Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for empowering others.

- Package: $117,242 - $129,637 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation and an award vehicle allowance of $10,780 gross p.a.
- Hours of work: Temporary Full Time, working 35 hours per week. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system. Position is expected to be available up to December 2026.
