About The Role
The Return to Work Coordinator plays a vital role in providing early intervention and rehabilitation services within the Council. This position focuses on facilitating effective return-to-work processes while also contributing to injury prevention strategies through the implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Council’s Code of Conduct and relevant policies in all aspects of work.
- Promote continuous improvement to enhance community service delivery.
- Ensure safety standards are met to maintain physical and psychological well-being in the workplace.
- Complete mandatory training in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate Council’s values through professional interactions and teamwork.
- Utilise Council resources responsibly and sustainably.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess strong qualifications and experience in injury management and return-to-work processes. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to lead and provide guidance on relevant issues.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including Return to Work Coordinator Certification.
- A current Driver’s Licence.
- Proven experience in incident and claims management, human resources, and office administration.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interpret and apply workers' compensation legislation effectively.
- Experience with Figtree Systems software and working with external providers is desirable.

- Package: $82,602 - $87,556 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
