As part of our crew, you’ll help maintain parks, streets, and public areas across the Shire. We work together with purpose, pride, and a strong sense of community.
Your Role as a Public Space Cleaner
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for keeping our parks, town centres, and public spaces clean and inviting. From litter collection to bin management and spot cleaning, your work helps create a pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
You’ll follow Council’s safety and hygiene standards while operating cleaning equipment and working efficiently in busy public areas.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who’s reliable, team-oriented, and ready to roll up their sleeves!
You’ll need:
- A valid Class C Driver’s Licence
- Previous cleaning experience and a customer-focused attitude
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks
- Basic computer skills for task recording and communication

- Package: From $61,515 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation
- Hours of work: Temporary full time (up to 6 months) 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight over a 7 day spread
