We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to join our Construction Management Unit. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse projects while developing your leadership skills and making a real impact in the community.
Your Role
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering our Capital Infrastructure Program. You will leverage your construction expertise to manage the planning and execution phases of projects, ensuring safety compliance, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading project governance processes, ensuring all approvals are secured and compliance is maintained
- Managing project schedules and budgets to deliver projects on time and within financial parameters
- Quality assurance through rigorous inspection and adherence to management principles
- Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, Councillors, and the public
- Proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure a safe work environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a results-oriented Project Manager with a passion for construction and a proven track record of successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to navigate complex project challenges.
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Building or Civil Engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Package: $107,000 - $119,500 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation. (Salary will be determined based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant)
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement.
