About the Role
As an Inspector, you will play a key role in protecting the environment and supporting community wellbeing through proactive monitoring, compliance enforcement, and education. The position covers multiple discipline areas, including:
- Environmental protection
- Roads and traffic compliance
- Community law enforcement
- Animal control and shelter operations
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. Local Government Act, Companion Animals Act, Impounding Act.
- Experience in regulatory, enforcement or investigation roles.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services), Investigations, or a related qualification.
- Manual driver's licence (Class C).

- Package: $82,602 - $102,302 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Full Time (38 hours per week), across a 7 day spread working a 9 day fortnight. Shifts across a span of Monday - Sunday 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. One weekend on, one weekend off.
