Your Role as a Rear Loader Driver
As a Rear Loader Driver, you’ll be essential to the efficient collection of waste and recycling across the Sutherland Shire. You’ll work as part of a reliable team delivering cost-effective services that support our Waste Management Strategy.
Your daily tasks will include operating rear loader vehicles, conducting safety checks, and performing minor maintenance. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service, your work will help keep our streets clean and our environment thriving.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dependable and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work and values serving the community.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A current HR Class driver’s licence (essential)
- Experience in waste services or a similar driving role
- Physical fitness for manual handling and outdoor work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic skills in data entry and mobile device use
- Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law
- Familiarity with Sutherland Shire streets and suburbs (advantageous)

- Package: $74,901 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full-time 38 hours per week 9-day fortnight
