Position Overview - Your Role in Our Success

The Depot Yardsperson is essential to our daily operations, involved in a variety of tasks that ensure our depot functions efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include operating heavy plant and machinery, loading and transporting materials, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment for everyone.

In this role, you will not only assist visitors and Council depot users with material loading and unloading but also provide guidance on vehicle parking. You will conduct depot inspections and be involved in basic administrative tasks, all while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Your proactive approach will be key in maintaining the high safety standards we uphold!

  • Experience operating heavy machinery and transporting materials.
  • Strong workplace safety awareness and commitment to best practises.
  • Ideally, some experience in chemical handling and administrative support.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.

  • Package: $69,785 - $73,858 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Temporary Full Time 38 hours per week 9 day fortnight. Opportunity is expected to be available until August 2026.
