Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a motivated, professional Visitor Services Assistant to provide high-quality customer service, support events and exhibitions, and assist with day-to-day venue operations at Hazelhurst Arts Centre. Duties include:
- Welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries in person, by phone and email
- Processing course enrolments, event bookings, merchandise and artwork sales
- Assisting with special events and exhibition openings
- Supporting volunteers working at the Gallery Desk and retail shop
- Invigilating exhibitions and helping maintain a safe, welcoming venue
- Completing administration tasks, database updates and daily financial reconciliation

You will bring:
- Experience in customer service within hospitality, arts, performance or similar settings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work as part of a supportive team
- Confidence using booking systems and general software applications
- Studies underway or completed in Arts or Business

- Package: $61,515 - $65,203 gross p.a. (full time equivalent) plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Part Time working 14 hours per week. Position is expected to be available up to 12 months.
