Early Childhood Centre Cleaner

The Early Childhood Centre Cleaner is responsible for cleaning a centre according to our robust cleaning practices and procedures, to ensure we maintain our stringent hygiene, health & safety requirements.

  • Enjoy a permanent part-time position with daily start time after the centre has closed each day.
  • Be proud of the work you do to maintain a safe and hygienic Early Education Centre for the children and staff.
  • Your attention to detail to the centre’s cleanliness will have a big impact on customer satisfaction and the children’s health and wellbeing.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, along with effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Essential: Current Working with Children Check
  • Desirable: First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in cleaning or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong decision-making and time management skills
  • Ability to critically evaluate work practises and suggest improvements

  • Package: $54,763 - $57,129 gross p.a. (full time equivalent) plus 12% superannuation. The Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Worker Retention Allowance will be applied to this role in addition with Federal Government guidelines. 
  • Hours of work: Permanent part-time role. Working Monday - Friday, 3 hours per night. Start time at 6pm.
