Administrative Assistant – Housing and Homelessness Support and Tenancy
Southern Tasmania (Bellerive)
Part Time Basis
- Join Wintringham and help deliver high‑quality housing and support to older people who’ve experienced or are at risk of homelessness.
- Competitive pay rates: $35.69 - $36.46 per hour (dependent on qualifications) + superannuation
- Part Time Basis – 22.8 hours per week (split over 5 days preferred)
- Based at our Southern Tasmania Office in Bellerive
Your new role
You’ll be the organisational heartbeat for our HHS and Tenancy programs, keeping the office humming, supporting the HHS State Manager, and making sure records, meetings, and stakeholder communications run like clockwork.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the below:
- Be the first point of contact for calls and tenancy maintenance enquiries
- Prepare correspondence, meeting papers and minutes
- Coordinate mailouts, supplies and general office processes
- Support tenancy sign‑ups and vacates; maintain accurate filing and records
- Record and track maintenance tasks in Chintaro/Fritz and liaise with contractors
- Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive team culture
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Proven admin/secretarial experience and great people skills
- Confidence with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data entry
- Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
- Ability to liaise across all levels and with external providers
- Current driver’s licence; office admin qualification desirable
