Inspired by Head Chef, Louis Tikaram’s travels across the globe and grounded by his local roots. Stanley’s menu showcases some of the best seafood, meat, vegetables, and fruit in the world.

Stanley’s ethos combines the best produce, mostly sourced locally, supporting out Australian industry with traditional Cantonese flavours, Tikaram’s fresh perspective and mindset of venturing outside the box adds to the unique experience of Stanley.

The menu has been designed to be shared and enjoyed family style, encouraging you to laugh, drink, eat and enjoy the flavours as they have been for hundreds of years.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare food in line with menu requirements and kitchen standards for the chef’s area of operation
  • Produce food according to menu costings and recipes
  • Adhere to quality control and portion consistency
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and be able to use a broad range of cooking and food preparation equipment and skills
  • Assist the senior Chefs in the preparation of food in the kitchen
  • Clean kitchen machinery/equipment/work area when required
  • Set up and assist in the food mis en place in all kitchen sections
  • Be able to produce a dish/recipe, from a combination of ingredients without supervision

What we’re looking for:

  • 1+ year of asian restaurant experience is highly regarded
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Papers
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Passion and pride for creating and delivering consistent high-quality produce
  • Flexible availability
