Join Us as an Administration Officer – Rostering & Payroll | St Andrew’s Aged Care, Tallebudgera

 

  • Permanent Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 8:30am–4:30pm
  • Remuneration: $33.38 to $33.98 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging up to $15,990 (that’s approximately $5,000 extra per year) + Staff Discounts & Benefits

This role is ideal for experienced Administration Officers, Rostering Officers, or Payroll Officers looking for a permanent full-time position in aged care.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain accurate, efficient rosters to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery
  • Manage staff availability, leave requests, and shift changes
  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust rosters in real time
  • Support workforce planning and assist with recruitment and onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with workplace legislation, Awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Prepare reports on labour costs, overtime, and staffing variances
  • Act as first point of contact for staff regarding rosters and payroll queries
  • Assist with budget monitoring and labour cost management

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in rostering, payroll, or workforce planning (aged care or healthcare preferred)
  • Strong understanding of workplace legislation and industrial Awards
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
