We are currently seeking an experienced Barista who is customer service driven to work in our onsite Café, M’s Café, on a part-time basis.  Situated in the centre of St Margaret’s campus, M’s Café provides Barista made coffee and a small selection of cold drinks and snacks to staff, students, parents and visitors to St Margaret’s.  The Café is in operation from 7am – 2pm Monday to Friday during school term.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to pitch your service to suit a range of customers from students through to staff and guests of the School. You will be an experienced and confident Barista.  Generally, you will work alongside another staff member on most shifts.  Many of the staff members you work with will be still developing their coffee skills, so it is important you have the ability to work with others to develop their customer service and coffee making skills. 

This is a part-time, term-time position and will initially be offered on a 12 month contract.  The role will initially be two days per week with the possibility of accepting shifts outside of this where available.  The role will commence mid-July 2021.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service, who enjoys making coffee and would like to work part-time with school holidays off.
