Learn to Swim Instructor
St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School is one of Queensland’s leading independent schools, fostering in students confidence, compassion, academic excellence and a lifelong love of learning. We look for all staff to be committed to and in harmony with the Anglican ethos of the school.
SPORT AT ST MARGARET’S
St Margaret’s has a long, proud history of women in sport. The school was one of three founding members of the Queensland Girls’ Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) in 1908, an association that continues today. The primary school is a member of the Andrew’s Cup Competition. As testament to the school’s commitment to the sporting program at the school, in 2020 the school’s sports precinct was completed and opened. This world class facility incorporates a water polo sized heated swimming pool with two 50m lanes, tennis courts with lights, gymnasium with an oak sprung floor, a strength and conditioning gym, an indoor climbing wall featuring seven belay stations and 76m2 of climbing, a dedicated ergometer room to support rowing and modern health and physical education classrooms.
